The Droid and Google+

I got the new Droid this week and I absolutely love it. Surprisingly, I was able to adapt to the touchscreen easily. This was one of the things that had pushed me away before — meh! But, Swype makes everything easier and awesome.

Admittedly, I am terribly addicted to Words with Friends. I still don’t care for Angry Birds, though. (I’ve played it in the past.)

I still feel guilty that I “jumped” ship with the berry. But, if you saw my graveyard of berries, it means that it’s time to go, right? Or maybe I am just trying to justify my reasons for switching. haha. I’ll always have love for Blackberry. <3

Anyway, can somebody explain the Google+ thing to me? I feel like an idiot because I don’t really get it. Maybe it’s because my network is kind of small. But, why does it make it better or different than other social networks? People I’ve talked to have told me how ‘awesome’ or ‘cool’ it is — but why? What am I missing?

Woes of the broken berry

It seems that my Blackberry has officially died. It’s been randomly rebooting itself, despite doing three wipes and clean installs. Now, it locks up when I try to go to check my messages. And when somebody calls? It locks up to the caller screen(?) and I can’t even answer the call.

I’m guessing it could be something with the hardware, but I have no clue where to even start with that. :)

The phone is also out of warranty, etc etc etc.

SO, I am back to my old phone. The cracked Crackberry. It’ll do for now. But it looks like I’ll be wandering over to the land of Droids.

I’m bummed out because I love my Blackberry. I don’t want to move on. I’m so attached to it! Yet, at the same time I’m pissed at developers that are going about how they won’t support the Blackberry anymore. Grr.

Anyway. Bleh.
